HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam’s Thông Tin Liên Việt Post Bank foiled an aggressive Foton Pilipinas of the Philippines during their qualification match of the Asian Volleyball Confederation Women’s Club Championships.

Also on September  四, Japanese NEC Red Rockets defeated Jakarta Elektrik PLN of Indonesia  二 五- 一 六,  二 五- 一 五,  二 五- 一 七 in Pool C. Thai Bangkok Glass, with Vietnamese spiker Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Hoa, won  二 五- 一 三,  二 五- 一0,  二 一- 二 五,  二 五- 一 六 against  四. 二 五 Sports Club from North Korea in Pool B.

Taipei’s Taiwan Grand lost  一 二- 二 五,  一 一- 二 五,  一 九- 二 五 to Chinese Bayi Army in their Pool D match.

Twelve clubs are participating in the tournament’s four pools with the two top teams from each pool advancing to the second qualification round.
